I love Blogger and it's Auto Save feature. I tried to post this yesterday, but our computer froze. Here it is today!

I know, I'm a bad blogger. But we have had a very crazy few weeks. We closed on our house 11 days early. It was the most stressful, insane day ever, but I did it. Yes, I did it--all by myself. Matt had to work, so he had to sign a power of attorney, and I signed all the papers twice. (Sadly, right now he doesn't have that many assets or I could have had more fun with the power of attorney.) Then we moved in--all by ourselves again. We had some help lined up, but medical residencies swooped in and messed it all up. We were hard pressed to find people at the last second, but it all got into the house and after a few days I could feel my legs again. And, thank God, my mom was here to help us and watch the girls during the move.
So now here we are.The girls are loving the new house. Their bedrooms came out really cute. Annie loves her new big girl room with all her books and toys. She's done well in the bed so far, although she is getting up earlier. Kate is just Kate. She seems happy enough about the move. She does like the new carpet, that we can tell :)
And I love the new carpet now, too. Especially because I found a Dyson Absolute Animal vacuum on clearance at Meijer. I am in vacuum heaven.
As for the house, our grass hasn't been put in yet because of the weather, but we're told any day now. Also, don't mind out open garage of junk. Matt and I were very tired by the end and just started sticking stuff in the garage to sort through later. I'm sure our new neighbors think we're very classy.
The girls were so well behaved throughout the whole few days of painting, packing, moving, unpacking, etc. Here they are the night my mom, Matt and I painted the kitchen. :)

Annie in her new, big girl room. She is obsessed with those boots and will not take them off.

Hanging out in Kate's room.
