#TribeTown

Matt and I thought it would be fun to take the girls to an Indians game before we left Cleveland. It ended up being a family affair, and we had a great day at the ballpark. Great seats, hot dogs with stadium mustard, foul balls, JumboTron appearances AND a Tribe comeback win!

Arriving at the ballpark. I don't know why Annie looks so sad about it. She had a good time!

Part of our group. These great seats were in the shade, and Uncle Mike's awesome seats were directly behind home plate. We were taking turns checking out the good seats.

The Smiths!

Evie even made it onto the Jumbotron! They put up a sign asking people to Tweet from their seat. So we took this ridiculous picture of Evie:

(Seriously Blogger, I hate you. If I don't use Picasa to import the photos, it won't turn it.)

Steph complete her second or third Tweet ever, and a little while later, Emma caught this:
Stephanie screamed and hit me, while Emma snapped this photo of her with her phone! So fun!
Also hilarious, that after the fact, the people around us were laughing at our reaction to seeing her up there. Like we had just won a million dollars. They laughed even harder when they heard Steph say, "When I saw her up there, I almost had a conniption!"

It was a great day!!

Party Time

We were in Cleveland last weekend for my dad's retirement party and my sister's welcome home party. After 32 years, my dad retired from the Cleveland Fire Department. And after nine months (that maybe felt like 32 years) in Afghanistan, Jackie is back stateside. Congratulations to them both and thank you for your service!

I was so busy talking to everyone and watching my crazy girls dance, that I didn't take any pictures. Here is the only photographic evidence of the party.

Gerry came over the night before and the day of the party and played with a Annie and Kate nonstop. I mean nonstop. They wouldn't leave her alone. She probably needed a three-day nap after that. And her late night trip to Taco Bell with Emma :)

I barely took any photos of people and I don't even like animals, but for some reason, I took this picture of Jackie's dog Neely.

Brian came over to help us set up for the party. Thank God because for awhile there was a decent chance my brother Matt was actually going to use that hatchet on someone. (Not me.)

Kathleen got ahold of my camera at the party. This is her and Uncle Mike.

Random family photo minus Matt Ralls plus Brian, Erica and Kathleen. Perfect.

Port Clinton

We visited cousins in Port Clinton a few weeks ago. We were planning to go to the beach, but the weather did not cooperate at all. We ended up going to putt putt in sweatshirts! It was still a fun day, though!

Grandma Ralls and all her crazy grandkids.

Just the crazy grandkids.
In the back, Adam, Mallory and Brady
In the front, Kate, Annie, Evie, Ella and Maddee.

These are ALL the Ralls grandkids - the first batch of crazies and Mason.

Getting excited for putt putt.

I don't think Brady's dad would be as thrilled with the sight of Brady fishing his ball out of the water as Brady was actually doing it. :)

Kate and Ella. So sassy.

Madelyn.

Yep. Evie.

The kids sifted through sand to find fossils and gems afterward. It was pretty cool.

Kate and Maddee.

After putt putt and dinner, the girls put on quite a show singing some kids pop tunes. Ella really got her performance face on. It was one of the funniest, most adorable things I've seen in awhile.

Slip N Slide

When our buddies the Debrahs moved, their movers accidentally packed up all our baseball toys. (In their defense, Annie and Steve were playing a "garbage" game and left it all over.) Miss Julie, being overly generous as always, sent the girls a Target gift card to replace the stuff.  In addition to some new baseballs, we also picked up a slip-n-slide, which was great fun!

Annie was a sliding fool.

Kate never actually slid anywhere. She just scooted down the length of it.

The Big House

The House Officers Association hosted another tour of the Big House this summer. We had a great time with our hospital friends!

Mae, Evie, Annie, Andrew, Kate, Dane.

The suite level had these funny cutouts behind the seats in the front, which the kids loved!

Matt lounged on the hot turf with Annie,

Right before he tackled Evie and showed her who's boss.
