It Never Fails

The box is always way more fun than whatever comes inside!

This is great! I think there have more than a few times when Annie would actually like to do this!

Grandpa and Aunt Jackie

Grandpa Jeff and Aunt Jackie stopped in for a quick visit last week. We had a fun day, hot day!

I think it's safe to say she enjoyed it.

Love this one of Aunt Jackie and Evie.

And piggyback rides back to the car. This is Jackie and Annie. I really though it was Kate when I first looked at it.

But now it's Kate's turn!

Thanks for driving up! We love you!

Spring is in the Air

As most everyone who reads this blog knows, March has been unseasonably nice around these parts. We have taken full advantage and have been outside as much as we can! It's been making for some exhausted kids and a happy mom!

Evie playing ball

It even got warm enough to get some water out and play. Evie made a MESS of herself and had a great time doing it.

Annie washed her bike after a long winter.

Kate washed her scooter, too.

Playing the street.

What Kate really does with her scooter.

Fun for everyone :)

An Evie Update

Evie is the cutest baby. Even for a one-year-old. Matt and I are just remembering how much work one-year-old are! Good things she is cute because she is into everything. She is like a tiny Tasmanian Devil tearing through our house at all times.

Chicago!

We went to Chicago to visit my brother Matt and for a party for one of Matt's college friends. We drove in from the Harrises on Saturday morning we drove straight into The Lincoln Park Zoo.

Checking out the lion.

They spotted Uncle Matt!

Yay!

Kate and Uncle Matt.

Matt and Matt had sore backs later!

Evie fell asleep at the zoo (thank God!) with her fist up like this. Weird baby.

We didn't want to wake a sleeping baby, so we took a stroll through Lincoln Park and ended up at The Weiner's Circle. It's apparently well known in Chicago. The dogs were great!

Riding the train! Annie was dying to ride the train.

I think Matt was embarrassed that I got out my camera and took a picture on the train. Doesn't exactly scream I'm From Chicago, huh? :)

The lakefront.

Eve did not cooperate for this picture.

On the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel.

I swear Eve was trying to jump out. I didn't think traveling with us was so horrible...

Thanks Uncle Matt for hanging out with us and doing so many fun things!
