Daddy Stories

Nearly every day, Annie does something that makes me think, "Good Lord, you are just like your dad." It's always weird stuff, too. Stuff I'm not even sure she's seen him doing. Like this:

Every time Matt is around when I make cookies or on the rare occasion that he's made them himself, he always makes a giant cookie. He finds the making of a giant cookie hilarious. One time he made a giant peanut butter cookie that he deemed so perfect, he took pictures of it. So a few days ago, I was making cookies with Annie. She was helping scoop the dough onto the tray, when she scooped up a ton, plopped it on the tray and said "Mommy! A BIG cookie!" She waited until Daddy got home to share it with him. :)
