She's Free!

The day before we left for Florida (we'll get to that later, I'm way behind on my blogging), Kate went back to visit the orthopedic surgeon to check on her arm and get a waterproof cast. We got some quick x-rays and then waited for the doctor.
When she arrived, she had good news! Kate's arm had healed so well already, she didn't think she needed another cast, unless I was worried and wanted one to be safe. We said no, thank you very much. They cut Kate's dirty cast off (which she did not like at all) and quickly pulled out her pins (which she surprisingly did not mind at all), and we were free!
Kate's arm was a little swollen and bruised still, but she started using it pretty quickly. She's a tough little girl :)
We celebrated with Chipotle burritos, which Kate was thrilled about. And that's not the arm she broke, but I forgot to get a picture of it right after the cast was off.
