This was Kate's response every time we asked how old she was for the past two days. Kate (or Annie...) decided she wanted an Elmo birthday, so we picked out some Elmo paper products and an Elmo cake at Meijer. The girls were very excited about all the choosing and especially about wearing the party hats. We had a few families over Friday night for a little birthday gathering. I was too tired to take that many pictures once the party started, but here are a few.
She actually was excited about the party hat. Annie made Matt wear one, too. (He was a little late coming from work. He doesn't normally wear a shirt and tie to a two-year-old's birthday party).

Awwe, Kate, love the birthday hat darling! Too cute!! There is nothing wrong with a BW3 birthday dinner...she is in training for 19 years from now ;) Hope she had a great day!!
