On Fat Tuesday, the girls and I made a kid-friendly version of King Cake. King Cake is a Mardi Gras staple. You're supposed to hide a toy baby inside and whoever gets the baby gets all the luck (and has to buy the next cake). We used raisins, and I won :) We had a lot of fun making and decorating this "cake." Annie is really getting to be such a good little baker/cook!
