We took the girls to Comerica Park to see the Tribe play the Tigers yesterday. We had never been there before, and after yesterday, we aren't sure why we've waited so long! We had a great day!
The cutest Indians fans getting ready to go!
We parked pretty close and got there a little late, but she still needed a ride. :)
We both did a poor job of getting Comerica Park in the background, but it is a really nice stadium.
The sun was behind, beating onto Evie's mostly bald head. Her hat is too big, and she doesn't like it, so that's why she looks dumb. However, she was the perfect little baseball fan the whole game. She even fell asleep for awhile!
Kate ate that lemon chill almost entirely by herself.
Doing the wave! Annie and Kate were both so mad when it died out.
In the background, you can see that we sat next to a group of people who came dressed as Tom Selleck, complete with Hawaiian shirts and fake (and some real!) mustaches. They were pretty hilarious, and we exchanged quite a bit of good natured ribbing. Sadly, the Tom Sellecks came out on top. The Detroiters were actually quite nice about our loyalties, and we found a number of other Cleveland fans there, as well. Good work, Detroit.
Family photo courtesy of Tom Selleck #1. Even though the Tribe lost by one, it was an exciting game. We'll hold out for a win next time!
