On Christmas morning, the girls got up at 4 AM. 4 AM. I am sure you are saying to yourself, well, why would you let them get up that early?! And the answer is 1. we didn't, really and 2. there was sort of a failure to plan. We forgot to have the talk with the girls on Christmas Eve about what numbers on the clock were acceptable as wake up times. Therefore, when Evie got up to pee at 4 am, Annie and Kate woke up and that was pretty much all she wrote. Matt and I did attempt to hold them off. By 5 am, we had already endured one hour of "Is it time yet? Can we get up? When can we get up? Now?" So, we just gave in and let them go.
I think my ridiculous face in this picture is me yawning.
I realized just now Annie's gift looks like underwear. It is actually "Molly's Polka Dot Outfit," which she wanted very much.

Christmas Breakfast began at about 6:30 am.
Due to our early start, we were in Cleveland very early in the day and all ready for the Hageman/Smith festivities.
