Ed and Laura and their kids came to visit for New Year's Eve this year. We had such a great time! Despite a few mishaps - like my oven smoking and a harrowing trip through a snowstorm to get some wings - it was an awesome visit and we all had so much fun! Thanks for coming (other) Rallses!!
New Year's Eve = Pinchy.
I forget which number Pinchy we are on.
If you visit on NYE and you want to eat Pinchy, you have to hold him.

I'm excited.
We also offered a go at Pinchy to the kids, but no one would take us up on it. So, then we offered them $1 to hold him. Not surprisingly, Kate did not hesitate to walk up to him and pick him up. She was followed quickly by Adam. Five-year-old badasses. Annie and Mallory really wanted that dollar. After much hemming and hawing, they got up the courage and did it. We were so proud. And if I can get my act together, I'll add the Instagram pics to prove it!
