This little demon turned three!
Evie is a crazy, hilarious, horrible, loving little three-year-old.
At three, Evie never sleeps. Never. She stopped napping forever ago. She's up every day before light. My day starts like this, every day: I wake up to the sound of her door opening and her shuffling little feet. Then either: 1. she comes in and asks to snuggle me (this is the preferred awakening) or 2. she comes in screaming about some perceived injustice or anything else that makes her even slightly unhappy. Every once in awhile, she wakes me up with her rendition of "Let It Go" at top volume.
Despite being exhausting by morning, she really is hilarious. She talks and talks and talks. The other day she told me, "When you and sitsers don't listen to me, I get frusterated." But in our defense, she never shuts up and it's sometimes hard to keep up.
Evie loves Minnie Mouse, ballet and her "sitsers." She loves to wear dresses and look fancy. She hates all food that isn't cheese or sugar. She is dying to go to preschool. She is our wildest child. She wants what she wants. When she doesn't get it, we all must pay. She has no problem hitting (mostly Kate) or screaming (mostly at me). And then a minute later, she is sweetly saying, "I'm sorry, I'm ready to be nice."
She loves to tell us all that she "loves us so much." And we love to hear it.
We can't wait to see what the future holds for our sweet, crazy Evie.
Right around Evie's birthday, Grandpa and Grandpa Ralls came up to visit for the day. They brought along GG and Pa, and we had a great day!
Thanks for coming and for all the fun gifts!
GG, Pa and the girls.
