Hello 2010

Matt and I are super cool, exciting people these days. On New Year's Eve, Matt had to work. I was sad that we weren't going to be able to continue our Pinchy and filet tradition, but our neighbors invited the girls and me over so it made it a little better.
First, we tried to get the kids to sport the 2010 gear, but they were having none of that. They could have cared less what year it was.

Julie and I thought maybe we could do better with Steve and Kate by wedging them into Steve's chair. But no, that didn't work out either.

All that accomplished was getting tons of gold glitter from the hat in Steve's freshly washed hair. :)

Then, wonderful surprise! Matt showed up with a Pinchy!! I was so happy! This totally freaked Dan out, though. No NYE lobsters in Ghana, I guess.

Hmm, and Dan is not as short is this picture reflects. Weird.

And of course, the obligatory, creeped out shot of me holding Pinchy.

And he was delicious.
