I am the mother of the year. Here is the proof.
A few days ago, we met some friends at a local park.
First, we got all ready to go, which involves everyone holidng Evie before we leave:
Then, we get some warmer clothes on. We do live in Michigan.
Then, we get to the park and immediately strip off our warm layers so our friends can see our cool new shirts!
And we have FIVE HOURS of good times at the park. Literally, we were there for five straight hours, and the kids didn't even fight once. They ran and jumped and swung and slid and dug in the dirt the entire time.
Finally, the next day we all have bad sunburns because our mother of the year did not apply one speck of sunscreen to our bodies for even one minute of those five awesome hours.
She's wearing long sleeves because her arms (and Annie's too) are burnt to a crisp.
Mom of the year. :) (At least Eve was protected!)

At least you didn't sunscreen yourself but not your children. Now that's a horrible mother! ;)

I feel horrible too! It's starting to peel now on my kids :(
I can hardly stand looking at it because it makes me feel so guilty!
They all had a blast though :) We should go again soon...with sunblock...and once the 5 inches of snow melts. Ridiculous Michigan weather!
