I told Annie we were going to go to Cleveland. I didn't say we were going today, but Annie was pretty excited. So excited that she got her suitcase out of her closet and packed it right up all by herself.
Look how organized she is! She packed it perfectly. My OCD tendencies are rubbing off on her. I'm so proud.
She told me the brown shoes are in case she goes to school, the flip flops are in case we go to the beach, and the white sandals are for a restaurant. She packed a few hairbows in the front pocket, too. Also, before I put her to bed, we were laying out her clothes for school tomorrow. I couldn't find any clean socks, and I said to her "Annie, where are all your socks disappearing to?" I meant it as a rhetorical question, but she started laughing and said she packed them in her suitcase. And she had!
She also helped Kate pack her suitcase, but I haven't had the nerve to even see what's in that one. :)

wow, she did a great packing job - she really thought it all through! Aly got bored during "quiet time" the other day and totally organized her sock/underwear drawer. Everything looked perfectly sorted, spaced, folded etc. I was a little shocked and impressed! She was very proud :)
