Last Thursday, we took a short trip back to our old stomping grounds. It was fun and sort of strange to be back driving around Toledo. Living there seems like it was so long ago.
Anyway, we went to the Toledo Zoo first and checked out all the fun exhibits.
Kate was having fun looking at the chimpanzees until one close to her actually moved. Then she freaked out.
Annie posing in front of the polar bear exhibit. There was a new baby polar, born in December, for us to see. The girls loved it.
The baby bear was playing in the water right in front of them. It was very exciting.
The tigers walked up right in front of us, too. It was a good zoo day!
Annie just walked right up next to Kate and put her arm around her. It was so sweet. And it left Kate wondering what was going on. :)
Kate went in to pet some goats with Matt. Annie and I passed on that.
