The girls and I took a quick, spontaneoustrip to Cleveland. Gigi got Annie a fun little bug cage, so she wanted to try it out with lightning bugs. Here are some pics of our night for Matt, who is hard at work as usual. :)

Once it got a little darker, we were on the lookout. However, we had two problems. 1. It was cold so there were very few lightning bugs out, and 2. Annie decided she couldn't be near them. This was as close she got. No way was she going to catch or hold one.
Not surprisingly, her sister was a different story. Kate held the bugs and was obsessed with staring into the cage.
We were trying to set the last one free, but I think Kate was scaring it into staying inside the cage!
