After dragging Annie out of bed the next morning, we headed to the Shedd Aquarium.
Kate was not shy about getting the fish's faces.
Driving a submarine.
Kate too.
After we thoroughly exhaused the aquarium, we followed the high praise of a blog I secretly follow (or not so secretly anymore if she sees this post), and went to Giordano's for authentic, Chicago-style pizza.
It completely lived up to the hype. It was delicious. This is the only picture, though, because Kate was not quite as fond of Giordano's as the rest of us.
Finally, we visited Millennium Park.
Where we, of course, had to take our picture with the Bean.
Our reflection. Kate was sleeping and missed Cloud Gate entirely.
Annie thought it was quite entertaining.
We also went over to the fountain because Matt and I simply cannot learn our lesson. Annie splashed around joyously and totally soaked herself.
That's one end of the fountain. The face changes every so often. It's sort of weird.
That was it! We drove back to our little town shortly after. Totally exhausted.
