We went to the zoo on Friday as our last grasp at summer before Annie starts school on Monday. The weather was cool, the zoo was empty, the animals were active. It was one of our best zoo trips to date!
The girls made me take their picture on every single statue at the zoo. Just read on, you'll see.
There is an adorable baby elephant at the Toledo Zoo, and we got great views of it because no one else was there!
Annie got a map when we arrived, and we stopped to check that map no less than 15 times. It was actually rather adorable.

We stopped in the gardens to take a picture. I took exactly one photo, and then all three of them simultaneously scattered in different directions. Including Evie.
