We went to Gruene, Texas one evening. It's an awesome little town, complete with a legitimate Texas dance hall. Both times I've been there, I've had kids with me, so I haven't been able to really experience it. But the town has a great restaurant, little shops, a winery and live music. I think it's my mom's happy place.
This picture just feels wrong, but to quote my favorite movie, "It's Texas! Everyone has a gun!"
